ABOUT MAHOGANY GRACE

Mahogany’s passion for hair began at the age of 14 during which she started an apprenticeship at the salon of a family friend. She has spent 16 years working alongside celebrity stylists John Barrett and Oscar Blandi in New York City. Her work has been photographed on a number of her celebrity clients, at events including the Emmys, Tony Awards, the Met Gala and New York Fashion Week. 
Mahogany cuts & styles all textures but specializes in straightening textured hair and performs an array of services including blow dry’s, relaxers, keratin & extensions. Straightening textured hair often can be damaging, her main goal is to enhance & maintain the quality & condition of the clients hair before & during any straightening process. She aims to offer superior services with the most innovative products by a speciality team in a intimate setting. Located on Madison Avenue this sophisticated & posh salon has become the new home for her many loyal clients.

About Nicole Lucero

Since she was a young girl growing up in Pueblo, Colorado, Nicole has had an interest in the hair industry. Professionally, Nicole began coloring hair 11 years ago and made the move to New York City 5 years ago, where she began working at downtown salons and then at the John Barrett Salon. Nicole joins the Mahogany Grace Salon as a color artist who pushes the boundaries of her talent to give her clients not only beautiful hair, but a unique and uplifting experience. Nicole works with clients to create a mutual vision of what the final look will be.

“My ideal client needs patience. Beautiful hair is not always done in one sitting. When there is a mutual understanding, I can create a look which you could not previously imagine yourself with.”

Nicole connects with clients because of her welcoming and warm Colorado vibe mixed with a New York flavor. This combination of personalities is how she can give clients a beautiful classic look but also something unique and bold.

“I am not complacent. I am always continuing to grow as an artist. When you become complacent so do your clients. Most of all I am your biggest cheerleader and I want to give you hair that speaks to who you are. I want the people that sit in my chair walking out feeling their baddest.”
